Science communication and the power of the crowd in digital journalism


This course will introduce basic communication principles that can lead to the effective communication of science to the general public. Students will then have the opportunity to explore how crowdsourcing can contribute to the writing of articles on scientific topics, and how it can be used as a tool for collaboration between journalists, between experts and journalists or even for collaborations between journalists and audience.
